Fresh Start Plan FAQs
Fresh Start's Family Rotational Plans (i.e. FamilyFlex™) allow you to rotate between your family cars, SUVs, trucks, and ATVs, providing year-round car care right in your own driveway. Members also enjoy extended care service like windshield blade replacement, fluid top-offs, tire pressure fills, battery replacement, and car sales assistance.
One way we're different than a car wash is that you only need one plan to care for your entire family fleet. With a FamilyFlex™ membership, you're free to swap between cars, SUVs, and trucks at your discretion. No need for multiple car wash memberships and trips to AutoZone.
Another way we're different than a car wash is that we provide service right at your doorstep. We find that busy families appreciate all the time and energy saved from out-of-the-way trips to the carwash and having to stand outside in the cold or rain.
We also use tools you cannot find at a car wash such as an air compressor and steam cleaner. Whether your ride is well-kept, or you're towing kiddos to school each day, we have a custom plan tailored to your individual needs.
We currently do not offer one-time services (except in the case of gift cards (https://www.gofreshstartauto.com/purchase-gift-card)or brokerage services)(https://www.gofreshstartauto.com/sell-my-car). In order to properly care for our client's cars, we recommend at least a quarterly interior or full clean plan that allows us to maintain a high level of service on your family vehicles.
As a FamilyFlex™ member, you'll have access to our top notch detailing services as well as our growing automotive care platform such as windshield blades and tire pressure fills.
Serving our clients on a regular basis also gives us a chance to understand your preferences so we can incorporate them into your cleaning each time.
Your credit card will be charged on the first day of your plan, and subsequently at each plan renewal date. So for example, if you're on a quarterly plan, you'll be charged on your start date, and each 3 months thereafter. A professional invoice will be automatically delivered to your email at every billing cycle with plan details and instructions on how to book your appointment.
After signing up for a plan, you'll receive an SMS with direct link to schedule the service that is applicable for your plan. Each time your plan renews, you'll receive a reminder with the same link if you'd like to book online. You can always shoot us a text to schedule as well.
We will typically detail in any weather above 38° F degrees without heavy wind, rain or snow. We anticipate about 260 plus detailing days per year, so rest assured we will find the time to navigate any weather challenges we may face. We will reach out within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time if a reschedule is needed.
Yes, please remove personal belongings before your detailing session. If items are left, we'll work around them or place them in the trunk or under the seat. We generally do not clean center consoles or glove compartments unless they are emptied beforehand.
Tipping is appreciated for excellent quality service and attention to your vehicle; however, this is at your discretion, and we recommend tipping to your heart's content :). 100% of any tip goes directly to the detailer.
Yes, you can change or modify your plan at anytime after your first appointment if the service isn't right for you. There are no cancellation fees. Any modifications must be made prior to your plan automatically renewing. In order to provide the best service and pricing, we are not able to offer pauses or skips on your plan at this time.
You can enhance your detailing package with upgrades like showroom wheels, leather conditioning, steam cleaning, Meguair's™ wax, and our exclusive Fresh Start Coatings™ for leather and windshields. Additional cleaning time can also be purchased. Note that upgrades are subject to availability and may incur extra charges.
This can happen for two reasons. The most common is that your plan has not yet renewed. Check your account to see when your plan renews as this is when you'll be able to book your next session. The other reason is that you are not logged into the correct account. You must be logged in with the account you used to sign up in order to book your session.
Our goal is for you to be happy with the service and we take great pride in providing quality detailing to your family! You can expect a quality clean everytime we come to your home. Please consider that things like climate, lighting, and the condition of the car can all be highly variable and may sometimes have a small impact on the service. If you have specific areas of your car that are important to you, please let us know in advance so we can be sure to meet your expectations.
We find that monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly intervals best allow us to care for your family fleet. For limited drivers, we may be able to accommodate a semi-annual plan through our house account service.
Yes, we are fully insured to cover any unlikely accidents that might occur while we are detailing your vehicle.
If you have an exterior wash as part of your plan, we will power wash your wheels and apply tire conditioning (i.e. "tire shine"). If you would like a detailed cleaning of the rims and brake dust (i.e. full wheels decontamination), we can add that on as an upgrade, time permitted.
Service time varies based on your car's size, condition, and plan interval. Appointments are typically 45 mins to 2.5 hours in length. Wash appointments are approximately 30 minutes.
You can always view your payment and plan details by logging into your account. Easily access this information via the account login section on the mobile quick access bar (three dots in the bottom right) or at the top left of our desktop homepage. We recommend using Google or Facebook social login for easy access.
Yes, our detailing van comes fully equipped with its own water and power supply. No need to use your outlets or water hose.
We request you be present at the beginning of your first session so we may learn about any special requests or preferences you may have. For any following appointments, your presence is not required.
You can either meet your detailer outside your home or remote unlock your car from wherever you are.
